Caseloots is a marketplace interface for listing, sale, trade, favorite and account-management flows for digital Steam inventory items. Caseloots is not operated, endorsed or supported by Steam, Valve Corp. or their affiliates.
User responsibilities
- Users are responsible for their own Steam accounts and for the accuracy of the information they provide.
- Fake listings, fraud, unauthorized account use, price manipulation and misuse of the service are prohibited.
- Users must review item, price, listing rights, counterparty and trade information before completing a transaction.
Listings and transaction flow
- Listings may be viewed by other users while they are active.
- No real package payment is collected while payment provider integration is inactive. Package selections may be saved as pending requests during beta.
- Suspicious transactions may be manually reviewed, and listings may be paused or removed.
Pricing, refunds and disputes
Caseloots does not charge sale commission. Sellers publish through free listing rights, one-time listing packages, monthly subscriptions or premium subscriptions. Refunds, reversals and disputes are reviewed according to the Refund Policy, payment-provider records, Steam trade evidence, item snapshots and account activity.
No custody of user funds
Caseloots does not hold user balances, does not provide withdrawals, does not provide escrow and does not take custody of Steam items.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, platform liability is limited for losses caused by Steam outages, third-party API issues, user error, incorrect Trade URLs, private inventories, phishing pages or unauthorized account access. Caseloots never asks for Steam passwords.
